Kerry Henry has been with Gateway Foundation since 1994 and has worked in both the community and corrections divisions during her career. Since 2009, Henry has been in an executive leadership role overseeing the central Illinois programs.
Kerry is very proud to work for an organization that is a leader in the industry and genuinely cares about those who are suffering from substance use disorders. She finds working in the field to be challenging but rewarding in that the staff have the ability to help people regain and change lives for the better.
Kerry earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is a certified alcohol and drug counselor (CADC).
Robert Bussing, MD
Dr. Robert Bussing has been in practice for over 30 years and first joined Gateway Foundation as a consultant in 2016. He completed his residency training in internal medicine at Southern Illinois University (SIU) School of Medicine and became board-certified.
Dr. Bussing maintains a private practice in internal medicine at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. Previously, he worked for several years at SIU School of Medicine where he held several roles. In addition, he has been a volunteer physician with International Health Development Network Hospital in Agbozume, Ghana. Dr. Bussing is a member of the American Medical Association, Illinois State Medical Society and is a fellow in the American College of Physicians.
Dr. Bussing earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Louisville.
